Garzon Pinot Rose De Corte 2022

Garzon Pinot Rose De Corte 2022

Garzón Pinot Rose De Corte originates from the Maldonado region of Uruguay, specifically from the coastal subregion of Garzón. Founded by Alejandro and Bettina Bulgheroni in 2016, Bodega Garzón was built with the vision of creating a modern emblem for Uruguayan winemaking. The winery emphasizes a terroir driven philosophy, utilizing a gravity flow design and sustainable practices to become the first LEED certified winery outside of North America.

Wine Description

This Provence style rosé presents an elegant pale salmon colour in the glass. On the nose, it is characterized by its delicacy and freshness, featuring intense notes of cherry, wild strawberry, and wildflowers. The palate is bone dry and well balanced, displaying a creamy texture from three months of lees contact in stainless steel tanks. It offers a strong acidity and a persistent mineral finish that reflects the ancient granitic soils of the estate.

Food Pairing

This fresh rosé is an ideal companion for summer appetizers such as anchovy bruschettas, niçoise salad, or prosciutto with melanzane. Its bright acidity also allows it to pair elegantly with seafood dishes, including crab cakes, grilled salmon, and sushi.
