Ripasso wines are fondly referred to as 'baby Amarone' by some. Zenato's baby is bigger and richer than most, with intense flavours of blackberry jam, cocoa, dried fig, espresso creme, blueberries and raisins. Pair it with risotto with gorgonzola, or grilled meats and grilled vegetables. This wine is constructed by using Corvina Veronese 80%, Rondinella 10% and 10%, and Sangiovese grapes. Beautifully balanced.
