Krug Rose Brut 29th Edition

Krug Rose Brut 29th Edition

Founded in Reims in 1843 by Joseph Krug, the House of Krug is a pillar of excellence guided by an uncompromising philosophy to craft the very best Champagne every year, regardless of climatic variations. Krug Rosé was first created in 1976 by the fifth generation of the Krug family, inspired by the Maison's blending artistry to be recreated each year.

Wine Description

The nose opens with delectable aromas of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and ripe cherry, enriched by delicate toasted nuances. Other notes include grapefruit zest, redcurrant, apple pie, Sichuan pepper, and a whisper of rosewood oil. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, vinous, and textural, with flavours reminiscent of raspberry charlotte, soft biscuits, and notes of prune. A refined hint of blood orange and a touch of pink grapefruit bitterness elevate the finish. It offers a deep core of fruit and tangy acidity.
