Louis Jadot Chablis 2024

Louis Jadot Chablis 2024

This pristine and bright white wine originates from France, specifically within the northern Burgundy region and the world-renowned Chablis subregion. Founded in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot, the house has grown into one of Burgundy's most respected names, now stewarding over 528 acres of vineyards. The winery's philosophy is rooted in a non-interventionist approach, utilizing a 'lightest possible hand' in winemaking to ensure that each bottle serves as the purest expression of its unique terroir.

Wine Description

Louis Jadot Chablis presents a bright and fresh appearance with a polished character. The sensory profile is defined by citrus and mineral aromas, featuring exotic notes of tangerine alongside green apple and fresh pear. On the palate, the wine is tight, precise, and 'racy', showcasing a wealth of high acidity and a briny mineral streak. To preserve its complex structure and the distinct minerality of the Kimmeridgian limestone soils, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks with very light fining and filtration. This 100% Chardonnay reached an ABV of 13%. While the house follows sustainable principles and uses natural yeasts when possible, this wine is not certified organic.
