The Denizot Sancerre 'Damocles' is a white wine from France, specifically the Loire Valley region, within the subregion of Sancerre. The Denizot family has been farming vines in the Sancerre appellation for ten generations, with their current 25-hectare estate run by Thibauld and Jennifer Denizot. The Denizot family’s philosophy centres on organic and biodynamic practices, emphasizing a return to natural methods to allow the terroir to fully express itself. The 'Damocles' cuvée is a single vineyard expression sourced from their oldest vines, which are rooted in a specific type of limestone soil known as 'caillottes'.
