Tequila Cascahuin Destino Blanco

Tequila Cascahuin Destino Blanco

Destilería Cascahuín, which means 'Cerro de Luz' or 'Fiesta en el Cerro' in the pre-Hispanic language, has been producing tequila since 1904. The distillery is now helmed by Master Tequilero Salvador Rosales Torres, alongside his son Salvador 'Chava' Rosales, and is known for its commitment to traditional production methods.

Wine Description

Bottled unfiltered, it is clear in colour and offers prominent aromas of fresh roasted agave, citrus zest, white pepper, and a subtle herbal earthiness. The palate is crisp and full bodied, showing notes of baked agave, green peppercorn, and honeyed lime, balanced by a touch of sea salt and smoky vegetal undertones.

Food Pairing

Suggested pairings include seafood tacos, ceviche (where the citrus notes of the dish complement the tequila's undertones), or light, fresh cheeses like goat cheese, feta, or queso blanco.
