Suntory Hibiki Harmony Whisky
Launched in 1989 to commemorate Suntory's 90th anniversary, Hibiki is a premium blend produced by Suntory Global Spirits, a subsidiary of Suntory Holdings. The whisky is a meticulous 'harmony' of malt and grain whiskies sourced from Suntory's three main distilleries: Yamazaki in Kyoto, Hakushu in Yamanashi, and Chita in Aichi.
Description
This bright amber whisky offers a seductive and subtle sensory experience. The nose is blossoming with notes of rose, lychee, rosemary, and mature woodiness, balanced by hints of sandalwood and honey. On the palate, it delivers a honey-like sweetness and a silky texture, featuring flavours of candied orange peel, white chocolate, and apricot with a touch of cinnamon spice. The finish is subtle and long, leaving behind tender traces of Mizunara oak and citrus peel. It is a full-bodied and balanced expression designed to reflect the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar, which are represented by the 24 facets of its iconic bottle. ABV 43%.
