Spirit Description
This whisky presents a deep autumn gold with a reddish mahogany hue. The nose is a powerful fusion of caramelized sugars, dark chocolate, and "sticky" berry fruits, underpinned by Kavalan’s signature tropical notes of ripe mango, melon, and kiwi. On the palate, it is viscous and intense, delivering waves of vanilla fudge, espresso, and stewed plums, balanced by a sharp, peppery spice and toasted oak. The finish is remarkably long and complex, fading into notes of salted dark chocolate, walnut, and a delicate vinous dryness. As a "Solist" (Single Cask) release, it is bottled at a natural cask strength, typically ranging between 54% and 59.4% ABV.
