Edge Cabernet Sauvignon originates from the Alexander Valley subregion of Sonoma County in the United States. Established in 2001 by proprietor Ray Signorello Jr., the brand was created to offer high quality Cabernet Sauvignon from premium vineyard sites at an approachable price point. Signorello, who also owns the prestigious Signorello Estate in Napa Valley, manages the winemaking with a philosophy focused on producing rich, luscious, and age worthy wines that are accessible 'by the glass'.

Wine Description

This wine presents an inky, blackish red colour and a tantalizing bouquet of dark red and black berry aromas, accented by notes of espresso, cedar, and mint. The full bodied palate is textured and concentrated, featuring a mélange of black cherry, plum, and blackberry flavours complemented by hints of mocha, licorice, and vanilla. Composed primarily of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon with 1.5% Malbec and 1.5% Cabernet Franc, the wine is framed by smooth, moderate tannins and a backbone of lively acidity that leads to a vibrant, bone dry finish with a whisper of dark chocolate.
