Dingle Gin – 700 ml

Dingle Original Gin is produced in Ireland, within the County Kerry region on the Dingle Peninsula. The Dingle Distillery was founded in 2012 by Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart, and Peter Mosley in a converted sawmill. It was the first purpose built, privately owned distillery to open in Ireland in over 150 years and is owned by the Porterhouse Brewing Company.

Spirit Description

This artisan gin is categorized as a London Dry style but is distinguished by the use of locally foraged botanicals including rowan berry, fuchsia, bog myrtle, hawthorn, and heather. The nose is clean and classic with bright juniper and piney notes, accompanied by a floral brightness from angelica stems and minty undernotes. On the palate, it begins with juniper and a jammy, fruity character, followed by a sudden cooling freshness of mint and eucalyptus. The body is crisp and well balanced, featuring a peppery finish of coriander and cubeb pepper. Dingle Original Gin is bottled at 42.5% ABV using water drawn from an onsite deep well.
