Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Edición Limitada Música is a super premium limited edition spirit from Mexico, specifically the high altitude region of Jalisco. Released in late 2024, this bottling marks the fourth installment of the 'Nuestros Recuerdos' collection, a five year series of limited edition creations celebrating various facets of the Day of the Dead. The distillery, Clase Azul Mexico, was founded by CEO Arturo Lomelí and remains a privately held, Mexican owned luxury house.

Spirit Description

This aromatic añejo was crafted by Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, who aged the tequila for 26 months in American whiskey casks before finishing the blend in Scotch whisky casks.

• Colour: The spirit presents an intense gold colour.

• Aroma: A complex nose features a harmonious blend of honey, peat smoke, and nutmeg alongside dried plum, caramelised agave, oak, and vanilla.

• Palate: The palate is smooth and full bodied with a melody of complexity including honey, butterscotch, toasted oak, cinnamon, vanilla, and dark chocolate.

• Body: This tequila possesses a full and velvety body.

• Finish: It concludes with a long, soulfully lingering finish characterised by dried fruit sweetness, oak complexity, toasted vanilla, and a hint of smokiness.

• ABV: This limited edition is bottled at 40%.
