The sensory profile is incredibly complex, offering a perfumed nose of crème de cassis, dried herbs, violets, and cedar, followed by nuances of tobacco and forest floor. On the palate, this full bodied wine is seamless and opulent, featuring a velvety texture with layers of black fruits, chocolate, and graphite. It is characterized by perfectly ripe, integrated tannins and a fresh acidity that provides remarkable lift and balance through a long, majestic finish. The varietal composition for this vintage is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Petit Verdot.
