Deep ruby-red in colour, this vintage reveals a captivating bouquet of blackberry, red plum, cedar, leather, and hints of sage. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and velvety, with well-judged acidity and supple tannins. Flavours of kirsch, briary fruit, and earthy truffle unfold elegantly, leading to a long, savoury finish. While already showing great balance, this wine has the potential to age gracefully for another two decades.
