The 2004 vintage reveals a deep purple or ruby colour with subtle garnet edges. A highly expressive nose offers an array of scents, including crushed blackcurrants, plums, and violets, layered with secondary notes of smoke, liquorice, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, showcasing a refined structure with silky, well-integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides excellent lift. The varietal composition for this year is a blend of 62% Merlot and 38% Cabernet Franc.
